I've been producing webcomics since I was 15 and doing it full-time as a professional since the age of 25 at Periscope Studio in Portland, OR. My work has been published by Dark Horse Comics, BOOM! Studios, Image Comics, Fantagraphics, Last Gasp and Villard, among my many self-published projects as well.

Oh Joy Sex Toy is a weekly comics series that graphically explores sex and sexuality. This week, guest artist Lucy Bellwood finds a creative use for obsolete snakebit kits.

I got a snake bite kit at

I got a snake bite kit at toys in babeland long ago (I think they knew what it was for!) and honestly I found them pretty useless. it didn't stimulate me when it was on and it didn't make me more sensitive when they were off. I was bummed cause I love nipple play but clamps and clips are too much. I've had some luck with stretched out wooden clothespins, but nothing's ideal, sadly.

I'm in the same boat! It sounds ridiculous, but what's worked for me is orchid clips. I haven't tried a snake bite kit though.

Move it lower!

Lower down is where this charmer works: if you've got one, use it on your clit! Make sure to use some lube or spit inside the cup (use the large or small one) so it doesn't stick to your skin, squeeze and place on the button. You can adjust the pressure by how much you squeeze the cup first. Leave it on awhile while blood rushes in, you get bigger (!) and more sensitive. You can squeeze it on and off and on and off and it is kinda like being sucked off. No joke! Follow up with a vibe and kaboom!
