Women on film wall of inspiration

The UK's Sight & Sound magazine held their hands up recently and admitted they needed to do something about how few female writers they have. So they commissioned a series of articles and launched a competition to promote debate and inspire female critics. In the interests of full disclosure and trumpet-blowing, I should admit that one of the entries on their 4-page <a href="http://www.bfi.org.uk/sightandsound/newsandviews/comment/women-on-film-w... target="_blank">wall of inspiration is mine, but I would recommend any film lover to spend a happy half hour or two reading through them all. I hope you'll see some familiar faces in a new light and maybe discover some future heroes.
