Ellen Degeneres' new show

Ellen Degeneres' new show sounds a bit troublesome actually. So the lesbian character and her straight male best friend get pregnant? Is that what the description was? If so, then the character is not gay. And why would Ellen and Liz make a show like that if that's what happens and it goes by the usual trope of negative stereotypes against gay people? (mostly gay women) I'm hoping the description is just a rouse to get people talking and it's really about how they had a mistaken
(possibly drunken) one-night-stand, or a mistaken sexual encounter before she realized she was gay and came out, or by artificial insemination. Just something like that would make more sense!
