The Red Rose Crew!

No list of books about girls and women in sports can be complete without The Red Rose Crew: A True Story of Women, Winning, and the Water.

This book made the struggles of women athletes come to life for me, and the story of the Yale women's crew and the changes they were able to bring in such a short span of time is inspiring.
