Stream Jordannah Elizabeth's Album This Week for Free

Musician, writer, and Bitch contributor Jordannah Elizabeth has a new album coming out on February 17: A Rush is an album that combines soul, gospel, and psych rock. Or, as Jordannah likes to describe it, the album sounds like, “Nina Simone on LSD.”

The album starts with the song “A Prayer for Black America,” a civil rights song written and dedicated to Trayvon Martin and others who were shot and killed by police. Jordannah recently talked on our podcast Popaganda about five protest songs to come out of the national conversation Ferguson.

Jordannah's letting Bitch host this free stream of the entire album until it comes out—listen to it below and buy it here

If you like the album, stop by the release party on February 2 at Hotel Utah in San Francisco—Jordannah's sharing the bill with Kirpatrick Thomas (Spindrift) and the California Raga Association. More info on the show is here.
