A graduate student in Media and Cultural Studies at UW-Madison, where I also teach freshmen how to speak in public. A volunteer and music history instructor for Girls Rock Camp Madison. The proprietrix of the blog Feminist Music Geek. Interested in applying the Bechdel Test to the contemporary film canon. Hoping to become a good teacher by constantly learning. A firm believer in the power of the perfect mix tape.
