Who I Am:
I'm a graphic designer with a background in publishing. Back in the day I co-published and edited the 4•AD-centric print music zine Warped Reality. Since then, I've written for The Village Voice, Puncture, Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture, SF Weekly, The Brooklyn Rail, and The Providence Phoenix. I'm an unrepentant Anglophile, a music obsessive with a fetish for luxuriously packaged objects, and an expert armchair traveler. While I share a name with a notorious Warhol Factory also-ran, I'm really more of a Mancunian Factory kinda girl. (Although I'll take the Velvets over just about anything.)
What I'm Listening To:

New Order, Western Works demos (1980); Liechenstein, Survival Strategies in a Modern World; Telepathe, Farewell Forest; Dial, 168K

What I'm Watching:

Dexter, True Blood, Futurama, Chungking Express, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Secretary, Wild Combination.

What I'm Reading:

Kiki de Montparnasse, The England's Dreaming Tapes, House of Sleep, Pages from the Goncourt Journals, Nights at the Circus (again).
